Benefits of Coffee

           

                For many people, a hot cup of coffee is one of the pleasures in life. It is the most consumed drink by Brazilians, millions of people drink coffee for the same reasons, but they have no idea that the drink also helps relieve muscle pain, in addition to improving memory.

            Anyone who thinks that coffee only contains caffeine makes a big mistake, as it is rich in minerals such as calcium, iron and zinc, as well as amino acids and vitamins, which are important for cellular metabolism. It also contains antioxidant properties, which are proven to be three times more effective than those of green tea. It is rich in bioflavonoids and polyphenols, which normalize cellular functions, which treat and protect against aging.       

            In fact, what is harmful is excess, and everyone already knows that anything in excess can be harmful to your health, and not just coffee. But the burning question is: what is the ideal measure? Most experts suggest up to 600 milliliters, which corresponds to three or four cups a day. But for coffee fans, there is no right dose. “There should never be excesses”, says professor Tasso Moraes, from UFMG, in an interview on the Editora Abril website (www.saude.abril.com.br) and he also suggests: “For those who have stomach pain, insomnia or palpitation, it’s best to take it easy.” A drop of caution, in some cases, never hurt anyone.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ice cube tray
  • 1/2 liter of water
  • 6 tablespoons of instant coffee
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1 glass of brandy
  • 1 can of cream milk

Method of preparation:

Blend all ingredients in a blender and serve.

 

Coffee Cake With Chocolate

Ingredients

 

Pasta:

  • 1 cup melted margarine
  • 3 cups of sugar
  • 1 cup of chocolate powder
  • 2 cups of ready-made coffee
  • 4 cups of wheat flour
  • 1 level tablespoon of baking powder
  • 4 eggs (separated yolks and whites)

 

Roof:

  • 2 tablespoons of margarine
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 sifted egg yolk
  • 5 tablespoons of ready-made coffee
  • 4 tablespoons of chocolate powder

 

 

Method of preparation?

Mode Pasta:

  1. 1.    Beat the egg yolks, margarine and sugar until light and creamy
  2. 2.    Add the chocolate powder and coffee, add the wheat flour and baking powder, beat well
  3. 3.    Lastly, add the egg whites and mix gently
  4. 4.    Place in the oven to bake in a greased pan for 30 minutes

Roof:

  1. 1.    In a pan, place the margarine, condensed milk, sifted egg yolk, chocolate powder and coffee.
  2. 2.    Bring to the boil, stirring constantly and cook until creamy, then pour the cream while still hot on top of the cake.
  3. 3.    If you prefer, use whipped cream, cherry and chocolate flakes for the topping.
