Vacation…enjoyment with good food

July is a month of vacation for many people. A lot of energy is being wasted and it always hits that fog in the middle of the afternoon, right?

Enough of those classic bauru and oven-baked hot dog recipes, we want something practical, tasty and, above all, different.

Grape energy juice

1/2 star fruit
25 ml of grape juice
25 gr of raw beetroot
100 ml guarana soda
1 tablespoon(s) of sugar
how much ice

Preparation mode

Blend all ingredients except the ice in a blender. Strain well. In a glass, add the ice and then the juice. Garnish with a slice of star fruit.

Sesame sticks

1 tablet of fresh organic yeast
1/2 cup warm skimmed milk
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 1/2 cup (tea) wheat flour
1 teaspoon of salt
1 unit of egg white
2 tablespoons of white sesame

Method of preparation

In a container, place the bread yeast and mix with a little wheat flour. Add the olive oil and milk, mix and gradually add the rest of the wheat flour. Knead until done. Let it rest.
Make thin sticks, brush with beaten egg white and dip in sesame seeds. Place on a non-stick baking tray and let it rise for 20 minutes. Bake in a medium oven (180ºC) until they are toasted.

Fine herb paste

250 gr of mayonnaise
1 clove of garlic
1/2 small onion
1 bunch of parsley
1/2 piece of green onion
how much mint
how much basil
60 ml of white vinegar
1 tablespoon of olive oil
250 gr of ricotta
how much salt
enough white pepper

Method of preparation

Blend all ingredients in a blender, with the exception of mayonnaise, until a homogeneous paste forms. Place in a bowl and then add the mayonnaise.

               Brigadeirão With Coconut Milk

1 glass of coconut milk
2 cans of condensed milk
4 egg units
8 tablespoons of chocolate powder
1 tablespoon margarine
1 tablespoon cornstarch

100g of sprinkles or 100g of grated coconut for sprinkling.

Method of preparation

Blend everything in the blender. Then place the mixture in a double pan (pudding mold with lid and pan to hold the water). The pudding mold must be greased with margarine and sugar, and the mixture is baked in a bain-marie on the stove for approximately 45 minutes. When warm, unmold the pudding and sprinkle.

Enjoy the holidays and these delicious recipes.
