Chicken foot with oats

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • ½ cup (tea) brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons of honey
  • 2 cups of rolled oats
  • ½ cup shelled roasted peanuts

Method of preparation:

Grease an 18 cm ovenproof dish. Heat the sugar, butter and honey until dissolved. Remove from the heat and add the oats and peanuts. Shake well. Pour the mixture into the mold and bake at 190ºC for 25 minutes, until golden and starting to bubble at the edges. Leave to cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Cut with a sharp knife, marking squares. Let cool completely and break into squares.

 

 

Cassava cake

Ingredients:

  • 300g grated coconut
  • 4 cups of sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 spoons of butter
  • 1 and a half liters of milk
  • 2 kg of grated cassava

Method of preparation:

Beat the coconut, sugar, egg, butter and milk in a blender until smooth. Add the cassava. Mix everything very well and place on a greased baking tray. Bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes or until golden.

 

 

Curau Diet

Ingredients:

  • 400g raw natural corn kernels
  • 4 glasses of skimmed milk
  • 4 tablespoons oven and stovetop sweetener
  • 1 tablespoon light margarine
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 50ml orange juice
  •  Enough cinnamon powder to sprinkle

Method of preparation:
In the blender add the corn with two glasses of milk. Pass through a sieve, then add the rest of the milk, orange juice, sweetener, light margarine and cornstarch. Cook over low heat until creamy. Divide into bowls and sprinkle with cinnamon powder. Serve very cold.
