Children's day is coming and we will present some tips to help you celebrate your day in good health.

Educating children to make healthy food choices is extremely important, as eating habits are formed in childhood and continue into adulthood. A child who has poor eating habits can suffer from childhood obesity and become an obese adult with many health problems caused by poor nutrition, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes.

Generally, children start to develop bad eating habits and nutritional deficiencies when they are offered large quantities of processed foods, which are often rich in fat, sugar, sodium and low in nutrients.

Offer healthy and varied meals, in addition to providing vitamins and nutrients for the child's growth and development, improving learning, reducing stress and providing energy. Motivate your child to participate in food preparation to teach them about nutrition from an early age and negotiate the frequency of certain foods (sweets, soft drinks, fried foods, etc.). Furthermore, the practice of physical activities should be encouraged, as the combination of poor diet, lack of physical exercise and a sedentary lifestyle contributes to the development of childhood obesity. This way, you will promote the formation of healthier habits during childhood that will last throughout your life.
