Beetroot and carrot juice

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 medium carrot, chopped with peel
    • 1/2 beetroot with skin, sliced
    • 250 ml of orange juice or ice water

    Method of preparation

    1. Clean the beets and carrots according to the step-by-step instructions described on Page 11.
    2. Blend all ingredients in a blender until you obtain a homogeneous juice.
    3. Add ice cubes and drink immediately without straining.
    4. If you prefer, strain the juice and sweeten it with honey.
