Murcote tangerine cake

    Ingredients:

    • 4 gossips with the peel
    • 1 cup (tea) oil
    • 3 eggs
    • 2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
    • 2 cups of sugar (tea)
    • 1 tablespoon of baking powder

    Method of preparation:

    Clean the tangerines and cut them in half, remove the segments from the skins, remove the seeds and the thickest white fibrous part of each segment. Place the segments, peels, oil and eggs in a blender. Beat well until a smooth cream forms. Place the cream in a bowl and add the wheat flour and sugar. Mix well and at the end, add the baking powder, stirring gently. Place in a greased and floured pan with a central hole, bake in a medium oven (180ºC) for 40 minutes. Wait for it to cool and unmold.
