Prato Cheio’s operations are based on 3 axes of action: Urban Harvest, which is based on the collection of fresh food that would be discarded and its subsequent donation; Education and Systematization of Knowledge, focused on content production for different audiences and Sustainable Development, to promote sustainable food systems.
Aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals, Prato Cheio projects contribute directly to fight against hunger (SDG 2), to promote sustainable cities and communities (SDG 11) and to promote responsible consumption and production (SDG 12), as it reduces food waste and brings quality food to people in socially vulnerable situations.
